Chester is a son of the experienced mare Dominique, who comes from an exceptional maternal family that has produced 1.60 m horses such as Guizanne (by Guidam) and Tornado B (by Natal). Dominique herself is a daughter of the legendary Chin Chin, one of the most highly regarded broodmare sires in show jumping breeding. Chester is sired by Schockemöhle’s star stallion Casallco (Casall × Contender), who not only successfully competed at 1.60 m level under Philip Rüping, but has also produced offspring successfully competing at the same level.
