Colvaro comes from a highly accomplished dam line. His dam’s siblings include internationally successful horses such as Colette (by Biscayo) and Cole Porter (by F-One USA), competing in Longines Ranking classes, as well as Colonia (by Action Breaker), who has successfully competed at 1.40 m level. Colvaro is sired by Elvaro (Calvaro × Heartbreaker), who himself successfully competed at the highest level of the sport. Despite being relatively sparingly used in breeding, he has produced highly talented offspring successfully competing up to 1.60 m level.
